Description
The DraftsMan Tactile Drawing Board is a manual embossing machine that can be used to create instant raised-line drawings. Simply clamp a sheet of drawing film onto the board, and you’re ready to use the stylus or a ballpoint pen to create the perfect raised image! The device is designed to promote creativity, motor skills, and abstract imagination. It is also ideal for creating tactile graphics for people with visual impairments.
The accessories included in the scope of delivery offer various small rulers (e.g. protractors, triangles), pins, and 25 drawing foils. The drawing foils can be reordered at any time. With the pins, points can be marked and the rulers can be fixed. The drawing board made of special rubber is resistant and fully functional even after intensive use. The plastic frame of the DraftsMan offers a guide rail on three sides for another (fixable) long T-ruler, which resembles a tear bar.
This special ruler has tactile markings: Line markings at 5 cm, 1 cm, and 0.5 cm. One length of the ruler is slightly jagged (at 0.5 cm intervals), and a special riffle makes it possible to measure in the millimeter range!
